Hear from Afiq on how he transformed NiNi, his Cromwell 150, from café racer to mini chopper, and discover what his new motorcycle community is all about.
My name is Afiq and this is the evolution of NiNi, originally named Jennie. It’s my humble transformation of my Brixton Cromwell 150 – from café racer, bosozoku, japstyle to mini-chopper. This bike is my sweet escape from reality. When I’m stressed out, I start the engine and ride. Although my bike is just an ordinary one, I feel happy when I’m working or riding.
I changed the front tyre from 18” to 21”, replaced the handlebars and added a 5” fork extension. I also gave the tank and side panel a brand new paint job, upgraded the front and rear headlights, and changed the rear fender. Finally, I added a straight pipe exhaust, new custom seat and sissy bar.
Mujojorosmc, or “MJ” as we call it, is the community that I created with my friends just to hang out, work on bikes together and have fun. The name Mujo Joros is an old Sarawakian saying that means “progressing smoothly”.
