Hey guys, my name is Janis, I’m 18 years old and I live in Sauerland, Germany.

I work as a mechanical engineer. I have travelled almost 1500km on my Brixton Cromwell 125.

I love being on the road with my motorcycle because it allows me to combine my hobbies: nature, wrenching and travelling.

Is your bike still in its original outfit or have you given it a few stylish makeovers?

Apart from a few stickers and a different seat, I haven’t changed anything. I really like the Cromwell 125 as it is at the moment.

What are you: a relaxed cruiser or a cornering junkie?

Depending on what mood I’m in and what the weather is like! Definitely a bit of both 😉

Why Brixton?

I wanted a unique motorcycle! I also have a lot of colleagues with vintage motorbikes and other old mopeds, and I was interested in the old school look. Brixton comes very close to this style and I was also convinced by the relaxed riding position.

If your Cromwell 125 had a Tinder profile – what would it say in the bio?

Faithful machine looking for the next adventure.

Where is your Brixton usually with you – and how regularly do you feel the wind?

I ride very regularly! I’m on the road several times a week! The destination is usually the nearest forest path or to a friend’s house for a ride.

What are your tricks to make the rides even more enjoyable?

Listening to good music with one ear while riding a nice motorcycle on the road – it couldn’t be more enjoyable

How long have you been riding motorcycles?

The Cromwell 125 is my first motorcycle! I learnt to ride 2 years ago with the Brixton, since then I have loved riding and the feeling of independence.

Is there a trip that you particularly remember?

During my 6-hour ride across Germany, I cycled through lots of beautiful little old towns. The stops were mostly on mountains, and the views were unique and unforgettable.

Do you remember the last ride that really got under your skin?

On a drive home a few weeks ago: finally seeing green trees and colourful flowers along the roadside again! I really missed that. Combined with good music and a beautiful sunset, it feels like a dream.
